It has been a busy January with a pretty tight time schedule. Things that have been of higher importance than kite flying. Then there is the weather. We have had a month or so with really low temperatures, down to -30C, and a lot of snow, surely putting a damper on my kite flying.
But last weekend the southern winds brought much milder temperatures and abundant rain. And it’s going to stay mild for quite some time. So I’m hoping to get to fly this coming weekend!
The weather forecast looks promising. On Saturday, it should be partly cloudy, with some sun, a nice breeze coming in from the southwest and temperatures around +4C. More clouds on Sunday but pretty much the same temperatures and a bit more wind.
So in the coming couple of days, I’ll be going through the kites in my To-Go-Kite-Bag and see that everything is flyable, check that my line sets are in order, make sure all the batteries for my tech gadgets are fully charged and ready to go.
Of course, I’m gonna bring a handful (?) of cameras to capture it all and upload a video or two on the AERIALIS Kites’ YouTube channel for you to enjoy. So keep an eye on the AERIALIS Kites website and be updated as soon as things are happening … and let’s cross our fingers for some really nice flying conditions for the coming weekend! 🤞
