For what felt like forever, summer refused to take a break. Day after day, temperatures climbed well above 30°C (86°F). Life slowed down as everyone searched for shade. Long, lazy afternoons on the terrace became the norm, while the horses at the stable still needed the same care and attention—just under an unforgiving summer sun.

According to the forecast, though, the heatwave was finally beginning to lose its grip. Yesterday the thermometer only just managed to creep past the 30-degree mark, and today… it’s definitely over. Strong winds, rain, and temperatures of just 13–14°C (55–57°F) have arrived. Brrr!
Fortunately, I managed to squeeze in one final beach session before autumn decided to make an early appearance.

The conditions couldn’t have been much better. A steady 5–6 m/s onshore breeze rolled in from the sea beneath an almost cloudless blue sky. In other words, perfect weather for flying the A-Quad Hardcore.
I found a small sandy beach where I had the shoreline all to myself, along with a few smooth coastal rocks that made the perfect stage for the kite to dance. With my favourite playlist in my headphones and the sound of the waves in the background, it didn’t take long before I was completely lost in the moment.
Sometimes the best flying sessions are the simplest ones. No crowds, no competitions, no schedule—just wind, sea, sunshine, and a kite that seems to come alive in the sky.
Rather than trying to describe it all with words, I’ll let the video do the talking.
Enjoy the flight!
