Following the highly successful Nordic Kite Meeting and Blokhus Windfestival 2025, we are well into planning for the 2026 festivals!
You can make a note in your calendar right now! The Nordic Kite Meeting 2026 starts on Monday, May 18th, and lasts for a full week until Sunday, May 24th. Wow! A full week of kite action awaits! …and of course, there will be yet another Windfestival at Blokhus as well, on the weekend of May 23rd and 24th!
We started the planning really early. Already at the meeting in June last year, we were discussing a few ideas that we want to work on to improve the quality of the Meeting itself and also a couple of ideas for the Blokhus Windfestival. We have also booked our Headquarters for the next Meeting. We are still very satisfied with the summerhouse we booked for the last couple of years, so we already booked it for next year too! The summer house is located a couple of kilometres from the beach in picturesque surroundings. It caters for ten people in total so we should have plenty of space for ourselves and our … stuff!
For the 2026 meeting, the AERIALIS Team Flyers will add on a couple of new pilots, totaling six in all. Please welcome back Mirjam and Nield Toftlund! We are very happy to have you on board!
