It’s a genuine shame. For all of us who love the pull of the line and the sight of a kite soaring high, we know that feeling of longing when life just… takes over.
Lately, that so-called “life” has been occupying a bit too much of my headspace and time. A tricky combination of car trouble, managing a horse, some health hurdles, and of course, the ever-present problem of weather and lack of wind have all conspired to push kiting down the priority list.
I’ve had to put away the lines and bags, which has been frustrating, to say the least.
But I’m hopeful that things are finally starting to turn around! Even though we’re heading into those shorter days here in the North, and the sun sets earlier, my desire to get out and fly is stronger than ever.
I’m determined to get back out to the field soon, feel that familiar tug, and share the experience with all of you.
So, keep an eye on the website! I will be flying… soon!
