I planned such a day trip to Gothenburg in my summer vacation last year too, but I couldn’t make it due to miscellaneous circumstances. However, why not give it a go this year? So I browsed my way to the weather forecast for Fiskebäck, the flying location in the Gothenburg area, and Thursday, July 18th, looks promising!

So I messaged Anders to see if he was keen on some flying. He was!

So that’s the current plan then. A day trip to Gothenburg to meet up with Anders and fly some kites for the whole day! I’ll leave in the wee hours, fly for a full day, and get back home sometime at night. By then I’ll probably be feeling a tad tired, but with recharged batteries!
