…and I really wanted to capture these colours doing some kite aerial photography and videography!
Actually, I planned to do this last year too, but for several reasons, it didn’t work out. You know, no wind, too much rain, no spare time or whatever. And such a task has to happen in a short period of time. Too early and the colours aren’t there. Too late and the wind has blown away all the colourful leaves.
But yesterday everything was running my way! An absolutely fantastic day, sunny and just a few picturesque fluffy clouds, a nice and steady breeze coming in from the water and the trees dressed up in sparkling colours. An occasion not to be missed!
Soon my 1,8m Pink Rok was pinned to the sky, not moving an inch in the really stable wind. Now that makes KAP’ing easy as a breeze! (No pun intended 😉)
Pull was no problem either. Just about perfect! No problems keeping the KAP-rig in the air and the kite didn’t pull me out of my socks either. So what more to ask for?
I soon had everything up there and with the GoPro camera connected Ty my phone I was ready to KAP!
I hope you like my video and for any nerds out there, I’ve also made a kind of ‘behind the scenes’ video from the day out there flying. You can find it on my Kite Stories channel on YouTube, or – perhaps much more convenient – just take a look at it below!
