So I headed for the beach for some flying in the wonderful conditions. I got to my spot and the light breeze came in from the fjord. Without any further delay, I quickly pulled the kite out of its bag and assembled it. Soon it was ready to fly.
I tuned the bridle and the bowlines to where I thought it would be fine and then I was ready for the launch. I just let the Rok’ lean backwards on the ground, got hold of the flying line and just took a few steps into the wind. The kite took off and raised slowly up into the air!
Wow! After having let out about 20 meters of line I stopped and the kite rose a little higher and then stopped, like glued to the sky! It didn’t move one bit. Really, really stable in that light breeze.
So what more to say … other than take a look at the video!
