Some days all the pieces just come together and solve the puzzle … just like that! When all the elements become your friends and create incredible flying conditions. Just like yesterday.
While driving to the beach I was a bit worried about the clouds building up, but hopefully, they would stay away from the beach. In the meantime, the sun was shining and the wind coming in from the sea.
I’ve been to the beaches on the north-western coast of Denmark quite some times. You know, a place where there’s nothing but a sea between you and … Scotland. Nothing that can make turbulence to the wind meaning it’s hitting the beach as smooth as a baby’s a**!
It doesn’t happen every day, but some days you can have conditions like that, you know, really buttery conditions and all you have to do is seize the moment, make the most out of it, connect to your kite and the wind and you all become one!
The wind was just like that yesterday! Like said, it won’t happen every day in Denmark, and definitely NOT often up here in my neck of the woods. …and I’d hit it perfectly! I had a few hours on my hands and a couple of bags full of kites. Wow! Absolutely perfect!
The sand even felt kind of warm. Would it be possible to take my shoes and socks off and fly barefooted in the sand? I mean, without getting cold? You know, to feel that soft and (kind of) warm sand under my feet again? You know, capturing a tad of that summer feeling again?
Heck, let’s go!
