With this teleprompter it’s much easier to do the voiceover!

Everything has to be written down.
But hey, that’s a good thing. Yes, it might take a little longer, but I think the final result is way better. At least if I get the lighting right! ?
The new way of working means that as soon as I have decided on what I will cover in the tutorial, I start taking notes. Like various definitions, keywords, focal points, how to break things down to smaller elements (that can be practised separately before bringing it all together, what footage will be required, and so on
When I feel like I’ve noted pretty much all I start writing my manuscript. Off course I’m using my notes as a basis for creating the manuscript making sure I’m covering everything.
Finally, my manuscript draft is ready and this means I’m ready to shoot the footage. I’m using my notes to make sure I film all the required scenes. And when filming, I might find that I will have to modify my manuscript. You know, sometimes what I had planned in beforehand doesn’t quite work out on the flying field. No worries though. I just film whatever is needed and do the modifications to the manuscript when I get back home.
After proofing I have all the required footage and an updated manuscript, it’s time to shoot my monologue! I copy my manuscript to my teleprompter app, rig the teleprompter and hit the record button on my GoPro!
Finally, I’m bringing everything together, my monologue and the flying, do whatever edits required, render the lot and upload it to the AERIALIS Kites’ YouTube channel for you to watch!
My next tutorial will be the Upright Side Slide, and right now I’m pretty much done with the manuscript and just waiting for some flying time!
