Eastern winds are quite rare here in my neck of the woods. But for the last few days that ha been the main wind direction. I know a few places that are exposed for winds from an easterly direction, so after a short drive I approached the beach and I could feel the wind was definitely coming in from the right direction.
I checked with my wind meter and it was clocking in at just a tad below 4m/sec (9mph). In the lower range of the A-Quad Semi Vented, but perfect for smooth flying and super flat axels!
After some time the wind died down to 1-1,5m/sec (2-3mhp) and it was time for a change of kites. I hauled the Zaephay out of its bag and attached it to my 10m lineset for more flying.
I found myself a nice spot including some water and continued to have fun flying!

Once seen it can’t be unseen I guess. – It just struck me that the yellow wing tips of the A-quad can be seen as two miniature yellow quads. Nice and clear clockworks and starts and stops in the Zaephay video!
