Just 99 days until the kiting highlight of the year, the Nordic Kite Meeting … and the Blokhus Windfestival. A full week packed with all kinds of kiting activities in beautiful surroundings at Blokhus Beach!
The Meeting kind of kicks off on Monday (May 22nd) when the first kite flyers start to gather on the beach putting a few kites in the air. On Tuesday we schedule a trip to the awesome Råbjerg Mile, the largest migrating sand dune in Northern Europe. Yes, a spectacular place to fly kites and our plan is to start the day by catching the sunset with a KAP-rig and capturing some epic footage of the rising sun and the glowing sand dunes!
Wednesday and Thursday we fly our socks off on Blokhus beach! And if you happen to be around, please do come over and say hello and have a good time flying with us. The AERIALIS Team Flyers will practice the modified anniversary routine so hopefully, there will be some decent team flying to check out too!
On Friday (26th) more and more kite flyers hit the beach and more and more kites take to the sky for the Blokhus Windfestival taking place over the weekend. Then a lot of wind activities will happen on the beach and more fun stuff happening up in the village too. So make sure to stick around!
In the weekend, May 27th and 28th, all the action is happening on the beach! A great mix of a Windfestival and a Kite Meeting and the AERIALIS Team Flyers flying their routine all day long both days!
This will once again be awesome, just like the 24 previous Nordic Kite Meetings.
I really hope to see you on Blokhus Beach at this 25th Nordic Kite Meeting for an anniversary celebration!
