Do you remember it? Vaguely? Yes, I thought so!

Because the Nirvana got most, if not all, of the hype back in those days. But I managed to get my hand on a Next as well. Yeah, there were some pros coming from running a tiny online kite shop! 🙂

I have a feeling the Next happened to end up a mix of different ideas put into it. Was it a trick kite? No, not really, a bit too heavy and large. Was it a team kite? No, not really, it didn’t have that crisp precision feeling nor the best of speed control capabilities. Was it a freestyle kite? Frankly, I don’t really know.

This sounds more like a Jack of All Trades sort of kite. One thing is quite sure. You would need some time to adapt to it’s somewhat … I don’t quite know how to describe it … different feel out there at the end of the lines. I have a hunch that’s what didn’t make it a big seller.

But if you spent the required time with it, the Next surely could deliver some cool combos up there!
