Just take a look at this image!

Medium wind speed at about 13m/sec (29mph) is not to bad, but peaking at 33m/sec (74mph) in the gusts, now that’s really something! So I decided not to go flying on Friday afternoon. I decided to rather take the horses inside before all hell broke loose!
Yesterday however, things had calmed down quite a bit. Still windy, but those hillarious gusts were gone. So I decided to … go fly a kite!
The wind clicked in at between 11 and 13 m/sec so I went for the triple vented green (quad) kite of mine that should be vented enough for the wind conditions.

I also pulled a 30m line set out of the bag and soon I was playing around with that green kite of mine!
Yes, it was indeed windy! So it all came to a decent workout. But nothing that the green kite couldn’t handle and I had a good hour or so of quality flying before the rain started … again.
