The weather forecast didn’t look promising. Heavy rain in the morning and most of the day and then turning into sleet in the evening. But it didn’t quite work out that way.

Heavy rain in the morning, yes, but within an hour or so it turned into sleet and then snow, heavy snow! Soon the ground turned white and we had a real blizzard going. Not exactly what I wanted on a mid-March Saturday!
