Because water is just (very) dense air, and given that circumstance, you can actually ‘fly’ your kite in the water! Just like I’m doing in the video below!

You can move the kite about just like in the air. The input is kind of slower and you must make sure the lines are quite tight all the time, but doing bicycle rotations with your kite half way submerged is pretty easy. It looks cool too!
