No, I haven’t been blown away by a rogue kite (though that would make for a fantastic video). Life, as it often does, had other plans.
First off, it’s the low season for kiting. The winds are either too strong, too weak, or just plain miserable. It’s like Mother Nature decided to hit “snooze” on the kite-flying weather alarm. Yeah, there have been quite a few rainy days too.
Then there’s the tightrope I’ve been walking—work-life balance. With deadlines piling up and home life resembling a circus act, I’ve been juggling tasks like an amateur clown. Throw in my daughter’s injury (don’t worry, she’s on the mend!) which has left me with extra stable work, and it feels like I’m running on a treadmill set to max incline.
Oh, and did I mention I caught a little bug? Nothing serious, just enough to turn me into a blanket burrito for a few days. Add to that a steady stream of rain, and wind that screams “Stay inside!” and—well—you get the picture.
But fear not AERIALIS fans! This is just a brief pit stop. Once the weather clears and life settles down, I’ll be back with more kiting adventures, tutorials, and epic fails (because those are inevitable).
Thanks for sticking around, and keep those kites ready for action!
Stay grounded (for now)
