Three of us finally met up in Gothenburg for the first time in a long time. Kjetil, Anders, and Sven, reunited at last!
The weather forecast looked promisingly adventurous: partly cloudy, a slight chance of a passing afternoon shower, and LOTS of wind.
Road Trip and Warm-Up
The roughly 250-kilometer drive from Moss to Gothenburg went off without a hitch. Soon enough, the crew was gathered at Anders’ place for a quick cup of coffee before heading out to the flying field.
We drove down to Askimbadet, just a 10-minute drive from Anders. Arriving at the large grassy field, we practically had the place to ourselves—except for three rather intensely vented kites waiting to be unleashed!
High Winds and High Spirits
With an onshore wind howling between 9 and 14 m/s, our heavily vented kites were put to the absolute test. They performed brilliantly, treating us to hours of incredible flying time.
Naturally, the day was packed with action in the air, but we also made plenty of time for great conversations about everything and anything.
