…and there is a lot to remember!
First of all, KITES! I got to make sure to pack all my team kites, both dual-lined and quads. I have a heap of Nirvanas in my dual kite team bag and a handful of Cosmics too. Then there is the quad team bag with a bunch of A-Quads for a wide range of winds and a few more.
In addition to the kites in the team bags, there’s also a bag packed with vintage kites, like Geminis, Elixirs, Opiums and quite a few others. And there’s another quad kite bag with a bunch of other quads for various winds.
Then we’re ready for the SLKs. A huge Flowform, a couple of Power Sleds, a Peter Lynn Pilot foil kite, twenty-something Rokkakus, a few Pyros and twelve (I think) Eddy Arc sections.
Not quite finished…. Flying lines, a LOT of them, for single-lined kites, for dual-lined kites and for quad-lined kites. Spare parts, tape, extra rods, fittings, tools, glue… yeah a long list of stuff indeed.
Did i mention banners and poles? In abundance! Wind shelters, a tarp, a tent, a chair, and all of my KAP gear, GoPros with all their accessories, a video camera, chargers…. an even longer list of stuff.
Of course, clothing, team ‘uniform’, toiletry, sunscreen, sunglasses, contact lenses, backup glasses, ferry tickets, phone, laptop, and passport, …..
Yeah, I’ve got everything under control, I think, and tomorrow my Plan A is to put it all into my car and see how much space is left for Anders’ stuff!
