I was fortunate enough to get my hands on one of the very first Geminis on the market and it quickly became my favourite kite with which I logged hundreds and hundreds of flying hours.

Lik said it was a real game changer and I learned a lot of new cool tricks with it. You know, radical (at least at the time) tricks like the Jacob’s Ladders, Multilazies, super stable fades and of course it’s signature trick, the Backspin!

I remember trying to nail as many rotations I could get out of it and my personal record ended at 54! 👍

I still have a few Geminis in my kite collection and even its little brother, the MiniGem for tricking in higher winds. However all my Gems stayed at home this time, but Øystein had brought his. And in the hands of Farid this kite still deliver … Big time!
